We at DDC have always tried to break the boundaries in every aspect of our work, but to take it up a notch we created a dedicated wing ‘DDC Social’. This wing of DDC is solely responsible for all the social experiments that are needed in our line of work, for e.g.: - collaborations with brands on events and short films, celebrity collaborations for social events, digital marketing. DDC Social has undertaken numerous successful events promoting social yet creative initiatives and it is our goal to balance our commercial projects with social events.

Happy Solutions Brunch

In this world where stress and depression have taken over almost everyone, dialogue is necessary to avoid a tragedy. ‘Happy Solutions brunch’ was a mental health awareness initiative of DDC Social in collaboration with Dr Ketan Vaidya. DDC Social brought forward one such platform where diverse people could share their experiences and insecurities with professional mental health coaches, over a delicious brunch. We approached one of the biggest restaurant chains in Mumbai to let us organize this meaningful event in one of their best outlets and as soon as they heard about the initiative they were on board! The best part about this event was everyone who RSVP’d for the brunch shared their problems freely with each other and at the end took the solutions back home. We at DDC are always happy to bring solutions with a different touch.

Woman’s Day Special

How often do you brush aside the thoughts in your mind? On every woman’s day we make a short film dedicating it to the strongest voices of our society, who keep their heads and heels high. Not because we feel they can’t do it by themselves but because the world needs to be reminded of what they are capable of. One of our films targeted the insinuations of patriarchal society, it was produced by ‘Diva Yoga’ and promoted by Malaika Arora. We also collaborated with ‘Tea Trails’ on another project for woman’s day, this particular film of ours was immensely appreciated and has garnered more than 800k views on our YouTube channel and still remains one of our best collaborative experiments. We intend to keep our pledge of creating a new film every year on woman’s day and are open for collaborations.

Into the Nature

Nature has always taken care of us; it is time we take care of it too. DDC social participated in an event of giving it back to our beloved mother earth.’Ashwamedh Pratisthan’, a thane-based NGO which works in the rural area of Murbad district, Kalyan for sustainable development of preserving the environment, collaborated with DDC social to initiate a tree planting event. The event was planned for 15th august and the response was overwhelming, it was attended by celebrities and common people together. Everyone, including our team participated in planting trees and at the end we all contributed our share towards nature. For it is in giving that we receive.
